RESUMEN El quebrantahuesos (Gypaetus barbatus barbatus), como parte de su dieta, es un importante acumulador de restos óseos de mamíferos en sus nidos. Recientemente, su comportamiento etológico ha llevado a la confusión con las actividades económicas llevadas a cabo en contextos kársticos tanto por otras especies animales como por los grupos humanos durante la Prehistoria. El objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio de los materiales encontrados en nidos históricos, pertenecientes a esta especie recuperados en el sureste peninsular, mediante un análisis de los restos óseos animales acumulados, tanto desde un punto de vista taxonómico, anatómico como tafonómico.
