[EN] This work is framed in the Technology Research Project of the European Space Agency. The development and testing of a feeding system for Iodine-fed Hall Effect Thrusters is described. The evolution of this type of electric thrusters, driven by the use of Iodine, represents the new challenge in the space propulsion field. The change in propellant from more traditional Xenon gas to solid Iodine yields the advantage of high density, low pressure propellant storage but introduces new requirements that must be addressed in the design and operation of the feeding system. The system must be modified from previously-flown xenon feeding system, as well as the material choice, to make it compatible with Iodine vapor, which is a halogen and then ...
