The Miniature Student Satellite (MIST) is a project at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The goal of the project is to launch a satellite designed and constructed by different student teams. The satellite carries seven scientific experiments that continuously collects experiment data as the satellite orbits the Earth. When the satellite is launched, the communication link between the satellite and the ground station is an essential part. This communication consists of a radio link between the on-board computer through a radio module and the ground station on Earth.
