This thesis is a study of the wireless embedded Internet implemented with a standardized set of protocols called 6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low-power Wireless Personal Area Networks). 6LoWPAN enables efficient and adaptable use of IP in networks with low power and low bandwidth. Such a network is set up consisting of an Edge Router and two nodes called CC1180DB from Texas Instruments. A program called NanoHost Example was downloaded and run on the boards making them send data packages with amongst else the current RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) value.
