Escuela - taller de arquitectura el aprendizaje de la arquitectura mediante la experiencia directa del objeto arquitéctico.

This project was created in response to an investigation and a particular interest in analyzing and understanding how Architecture is learned, or rather, the way it ideally should be learned. Before suggesting anything specific or absolute there’s a need to understand two things, first: what is learning? And second: what is Architecture? That's when after an interesting and in some ways more interpretative investigation, the most essential concept of the project is born: Architecture is not taught;, it is learned. In other words, to learn Architecture ideally, the direct experience with the compositional elements that constitute it and the place where they act is essential. That is why although it sounds redundant Architecture can only be learned throughout Architecture itself. The School - Workplace is the physical result of this research and it could be described then as an experimental space for learning that is based on three factors that are transcendental and absolutely necessary in Architecture. First, wise or intelligible factors that are related with the domain of ideas and essences, second, correct or ethical factors that are related with the domain and respect for existences and places, and third: the magnificent and sensitive factors which are related with the domain of the senses and the experience of beauty.Este proyecto nace como respuesta a una investigación y a un interés particular por analizar y entender la manera en que se da el aprendizaje de la Arquitectura, o mejor dicho, la manera en que se debería dar idealmente el aprendizaje de la Arquitectura. Antes de proponer nada concreto o absoluto es necesario entender dos cosas, la primera: que es el aprendizaje? y la segunda: que es la Arquitectura? Es entonces cuando después de una investigación interesante y en algunos aspectos interpretativa nace el concepto mas esencial del proyecto: La Arquitectura no se enseña; se aprende. Es decir, para aprender Arquitectura idealmente, la experiencia directa con los elementos compositivos que la conforman y con el lugar en donde estos actúan, es fundamental, es por eso que aunque suene redundante la única manera de aprender Arquitectura, es con Arquitectura justamente. La Escuela Taller que es el resultado físico de esta investigación se podría describir entonces como un espacio experimental de aprendizaje que se basa en tres factores trascendentales y totalmente necesarios en la Arquitectura. Primero: los factores sabios o inteligibles que tienen que ver con el dominio de las ideas y las esencias, segundo: los factores correctos o éticos que tienen que ver con el dominio y el respeto por las existencias y el lugar, y tercero: los factores magníficos o sensibles que tienen que ver con el dominio de los sentidos y la experiencia de lo bello
