This project was a research study to determine the effectiveness of replacing soybean meal by sesame paste in quail diets. The purpose of this research was to know the nutritional benefits of this oilseed reflected in feed intake and feed conversion, as well as in the increase of the poultry weight gain. This experiment consisted of four portions formulated with different percentages of sesame paste (0 %, 25 %, 50 % and 75 %) to replace soybean meal. Each treatment was comprised of 50 quail (1 day old) that were offered the same quantity of meal food that was increasing over the weeks.
