Estudio comparativo de factores de riesgo psicosociales : doble presencia y estima según índice de masa corporal (IMC) en el personal administrativo y operativo de una empresa manufacturera automotriz

The interest in investigating the psychosocial risk factors in the work contour has gained force in recent decades as a search for that worker to feel comfortable and identified in the work being done every day. Reach this includes assessing various subjective situations, family and social environment; in the absence of a Gold standard experts recommend using methods that complement the information. This study in an automotive manufacturing company of Quito, compared to double presence and esteem the biotype given by BMI, using the questionnaire CoPsoQ-ISTAS-21. The independent variables are taken from the same questionnaire. Answers show that 77% are men, 60% under the age of 35 years, 61% carries out operational work, and 84% have full time contract, 67% work in the morning and early afternoon hours; 68% have less than five years old. The distribution by biotype is 49% overweight, Normal 38% and 13% obesity. The responses indicate that both the double presence and esteem are present in the company and are important psychosocial risk factors and affecting mainly women, part-time staff working at fixed hours and with median age. This study also confirms the hypothesis that workers who suffer from overweight and obesity are particularly vulnerable.El interés por investigar los Factores de Riesgo Psicosocial en el contorno laboral ha cobrado fuerza en las últimas décadas como búsqueda de lograr que el trabajador se sienta a gusto e identificado en la labor que realiza cada día. Lograr lo anterior incluye evaluar variadas situaciones subjetivas, entorno familiar y social; ante la inexistencia de un Gold estándar los expertos recomiendan usar métodos que complementen la información. Este estudio realizado en una empresa manufacturera automotriz de Quito, compara la Doble presencia y Estima con el Biotipo dado por el IMC (Índice de masa corporal), utilizando el cuestionario CoPsoQ-ISTAS-21. Las variables independientes son tomadas del mismo cuestionario. El 77% son hombres, el 60% menores de 35 años, el 61% realiza trabajos operativos, el 84% tiene contrato a tiempo completo, el 67% trabaja en la mañana y primeras horas de la tarde; el 68% tienen una antigüedad menor a cinco años. La distribución por biotipo es Sobrepeso 49%, Normal 38% y Obesidad 13%. Las respuestas indican que tanto la Doble Presencia como la Estima están presentes en la empresa y son importantes factores de riesgo psicosocial y que afecta principalmente a mujeres, personal a tiempo parcial que labora en horarios fijos y con mediana antigüedad. Este estudio además confirma la hipótesis que los trabajadores que sufren de sobrepeso y obesidad son particularmente vulnerables
