This study describes the evaluation and treatment using family therapy of twelve session duration a case of a couple with marital problems and their daughter with attention problems. The treatment is carried on by request of the father that their daughter be treated and his wife accompanies him. The objective of treatment was established during the first session with all the therapeutic goals that were pursuit. The child’s parents assist a psicoeducational workshop on how to educate children at home. Different evaluation methods were used to appraise the family and couple functionality; these were administered and observed at the beginning and termination to assess the impact of family therapy.
