BACKGROUND: The increased prevalence of diabetes in schizophrenia is partly attributed to antipsychotic treatment, in particular second-generation antipsychotics, but the evidence has not been systematically reviewed. AIMS: Systematic review and meta-analysis comparing diabetes risk for different antipsychotics in people with schizophrenia.
