There is projected a method of railway vehicle dynamic effects detection in vertical and lateral direction in the course of passing over a turnout in this contribution. The method is based on acceleration measuring on vehicle axle boxes. Dynamic effects are valuated on the basis of statistical characteristics computed from measured accelerate values in the course of passing over a turnout tongue and frog. They are graphically evaluated in different ways with respect to investigation of higher vehicle dynamic effects in the course of passing over a turnout in this contribution.
