HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSEPSI TERHADAP PERAN ORANG TUA DENGAN PERILAKU CYBERBULLYING PADA REMAJA

Internet can facilitate human to access various kinds of information, on the other side of internet also can give negative impact because can be used as media to perform action cyberbullying especially among adolescent. The success of parents in carrying out their role in the family becomes an important factor in overseeing various youth activities including cyberbullying. This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of parents and cyberbullying behavior in teens. The hypothesis proposed in this study is there is a negative relationship between the role of parents with cyberbullying behavior. The sample in this research is 58 students. The method used is cyberbullying scale and parent role scale. Data analysis technique used in this research is pearson product moment and done with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science). The statistical results show the value of r = -0,386 and p = 0,001 (p0,05), meaning there is a very significant negative relationship between the role of parents with cyberbullying behavior and thus the hypothesis accepted. Contribution of parent role variable to cyberbullying behavior variable in this research is shown by R squared value equal to 0,149. This means that the role of parents to give effective contribution of 14.9% of cyberbullying behavior and 85.1% the rest influenced by other factors. ( INDONESIA ) Internet dapat memudahkan manusia untuk mengakses berbagai jenis informasi, di sisi lain internet juga dapat memberikan dampak negatif karena bisa digunakan sebagai media untuk melakukan tindakan cyberbullying khususnya dikalangan remaja. Keberhasilan orang tua dalam menjalankan perannya di keluarga menjadi faktor penting dalam mengawasi berbagai aktifitas remaja termasuk cyberbullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran orang tua dan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara peran orang tua dengan perilaku cyberbullying. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 58 orang siswa.
