The present-day language and its role for building up of the identity of the Catalan people (case study of the city of Manresa,Bages region, Barcelona province)

Práce analyzuje současné situace katalánského jazyka a míra jeho užívání obyvateli města Manresa. Klíčovým přístupem k poznání obyvatel města a tamější jazykové situace byl terénní výzkum provedený na jaře roku 2007. Následně tedy bylo možné analyzovat pohled Katalánců na užívání jazyka a jeho spjatost s etnickým vědomím příslušnosti ke Katalánsku jako takovému.The objective of this essay is to provide an analysis of present-day situation of Catalan and volum of its usage by the inhabitants of the town of Manresa. As the key method was applied to learn the inhabitants of the town and their language situation was an on-site investigation carried out in Spring 2007.Consequently, it is able to analyse their views on usage of the language and its vinculation to the ethnic sense of pertinence to Catalunya as such.Katedra sociálních vědDokončená práce s úspěšnou obhajobo
