The Roma issue is continuously present both in politics and in different researches, as for decades the problems could not be solved. Concerning number of Romas there is no representative data. Based on reliable estimations the Roma population living in Europe is minimally 8 million. Some estimation mention 12 million people. In the years after the regime change, and from that period continuously the newly created research institutes brought the attention to another social concerns.
