Clinical performance of the Duke Endocarditis Service criteria to establish the diagnosis of infectious endocarditis (IE) and cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) infection can be improved through functional imaging procedures such as radiolabeled leukocytes (99mTc-HMPAO-WBC).
