Recent advancement in microfluidic systems has been focused on the development of micro total analysis systems and Lab-on-a-chip systems for bio-analytical and clinical diagnostic applications, particularly for DNA analysis, clinical point-of-care analysis, proteomic analysis, immunoassays and forensic science.
