The present study is concerned with mixed convection flows in turbulent regime. A computational analysis has been carried out in order to achieve a better understanding of the involved phenomena. The analysis has been focused on the momentum and heat transfer behaviour passing from pure forced to mixed convection. A vertical channel geometry has been chosen and the uniform wall temperature boundary conditions have been selected. The obtained results have been discussed in detail and an explanation of the main findings has been proposed
