Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the most common subtype of renal malignancy in adults.1 The disease is usually radiologically imaged with computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for diagnosis, staging, treatment planning and follow up.
