This article argues that Chinese traditional values do\ud matter in Chinese corporate governance. The object is to\ud report on the preliminary findings of a project supported\ud by the General Research Fund in Hong Kong (HK). Thus\ud far the survey results from HK respondents support the\ud authors’ hypothesis. As such, traditional Chinese values\ud should be on the agenda of the next round of company\ud law reforms in Chin
