Objetivo. Analizar la relaci\uf3n costo-efectividad de un programa universal de vacunaci\uf3n contra rotavirus en ni\uf1os de hasta 5 a\uf1os en Brasil. M\ue9todos. Se consider\uf3 una cohorte hipot\ue9tica anual de aproximadamente 3 300 000 reci\ue9n nacidos con un seguimiento de 5 a\uf1os. Mediante un modelo de \ue1rbol de decisi\uf3n se analizaron los posibles efectos cl\uednicos y econ\uf3micos de la infecci\uf3n por rotavirus con la vacunaci\uf3n programada de ni\uf1os y sin ella. Las probabilidades y los costos unitarios se tomaron de investigaciones publicadas y de los datos oficiales nacionales.
