Three students in protective lab coats are at work in the medical secretaries\u27 laboratory on the second floor of Alumni Hall in the 1940s. One peers through a microscope, the second is filling test tubes, and the third places already-treated test tubes in an oven--a device to incubate cultures. The sterilizer stands to their right.
