Hormone therapy (HT) drugs and bisphosphonates prevent osteoporosis by inhibiting osteoclastic bone resorption. However, the effects of osteoporosis and anti-resorptive drugs on the mechanical behavior of the bone tissue constituting individual trabeculae have not yet been quantified.
