The PhD thesis research project is aimed at developing new isotopic analysis methods to verify the authenticity of food products. In this project I will particularly focus on the 15N/14N ratio of nitrogen organic fractions in order to improve discrimination between geographical origins and agricultural systems. Nitrogen isotope ratio indeed is linked with the geological and pedological characteristics of growth soil, which can be linked to the location, and is an indicator of organic or conventional management syste
