EnglishFood consumption behavior expressed in food nutrients is one of major information required for formulation of food security policy at household level. This study reveals that calories and protein consumptions are inelastic to food prices and income changes. The highest price elasticity observed for rice price, means that price policy on rice is an appropriate way to maintain household's food security. Due to the shift of food consumption pattern induced by income increase, the protein consumption is more elastic than the calories consumption.
