Uji Efek Ekstrak Etanol Daun Lidah Mertua (Sansevieria Trifasciata Prain) Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Gula Darah Tikus Putih Jantan Galur Wistar (Rattus Norvegicus L.) Yang Diinduksi Sukrosa

This study aimed to test the effect of ethanol extract Lidah Mertua leaves (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain) to decrease blood sugar levels of white male wistar (Rattus norvegicus L.) who induced sucrose. This type of research laboratory experiments using a Complete Randomized Design methods. Animal testing of this experiments is a white 15 rat males totaled are divided into 5 groups. The five groups which are a negative control group given a solution of CMC 0,5%, a positive control group was given 0,036 mg/kg body weight suspension of glibenklamid, then the treatment Group's was given ethanol ekstract 0,0083 g/kg body weight of Lidah Mertua leaves (Sansevieria trifasciata Prain) for the group treatment first, group treatment second 0,041 g/kg body weight, and treatment group third 0,083 g/kg body weight. Data obtained from the examination of the fasting blood sugar levels, 30 minutes after induction with sucrose and at first hour, second hours, third hours and fourth hours after treatment was given. The data analysis statistics test using ANOVA and LSD to see the difference between the negative control group, positive control group and treatment group 1, 2 and 3. The statistical analysis showed a significant difference with negative control group
