Pengaruh Liturgi Gereja Katolik Roma pada Interior Gereja Kelahiran Santa Perawan Maria

A Catholic church is a place of worship that uses roman liturgy, which has certain worship stipulatian which can have influences on the interior arrangement. This research takes the Gereja Kelahiran Santa Perawan Maria Church as its study case. The research method used is the descriptive method. The aim of this research is to observe how the liturgy is applied through the use of visual elements in the interior of this oldest catholic church in Surabaya. Despite some unappropriate dimensions, applications of the principles in the liturgy could be observed through the provision of many worship facilities as well as the use of symbols, colours and room atmosphere that supports the liturgy
