Pengaruh Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa pada Materi Segiempat di SMP

This study aims to discover Reciprocal Teaching learning effect towards mathematical communication skills of students in rectangles material in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak. Methods of an experimental study design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 34 students of class VII C. Analysis of the data result using gain score analysis. The results show that there is an increase in students' mathematical communication skills after learning Reciprocal Teaching with an average gain index of 0.38. From the calculation of the t-test, obtained with thitung > ttable or 7.15 > 1.7 then there are differences in students' mathematical communication skills before and after treatment. Based on data analysis, the result that learning Reciprocal Teaching provides the greatest increase in students' scores on level of proficiency. Based on these data concluded that learning Reciprocal Teaching effect on students' mathematical communication skills in rectangular material in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak
