Subjek dalam Pandangan Dunia Posmodernisme

This article explains the position of ‘subject' in the tradition of postmodern philosophy. The subject which so long has been very individual and selfish in the postmodern thought, now is no longer admitted, even is suspected, since the ‘majesty' of modern individual has not brought peace and ease, as it wished, but terror, damage and difficulty for human beings. Therefore, the main characteristic of modernist individual is to create restlessness in the world life that becomes harder. To respond such attitude, now the postmodernist subject consciously takes a middle path i.e. to be polite, tolerant, and appreciative towards daily life. This means that a subject should not more make itself as the big power for the other, but egalitarian, mutual love, and mutual need.DOI: 10.15408/ref.v13i4.91
