Upaya Meningkatkan Integrasi Sosial Anggota Perkumpulan Saroha Batak Islam di Kota Pontianak

This research study was intended to explore association intgration, caused of passive members and the effort to improve social integration of Saroha Batak Islam members in Pontianak. Qualitative research method was used in this research study. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview and the study of documentation. The research instruments were the directive of observation, directive of interview, and the documentation tools. This research showed that association integration is good for the active member's only, but not for passive members. The caused of passive members in this organization were the bustle of the individuals themselves, lacking a sense of concern and economic factor. The effort to improve members integration by using persuasive social control technique. This technique is divided into two types. They were verbal control and symbolic control. The verbal effort was done personally and in pray activity. The symbolic effort was done through invitation
