God as Father in the Writings of Cardinal Tomáš Špidlík, SJ

The bachelor thesis entitled "God as Father in the Writings of Cardinal Tomáš Špidlík, SJ" provides a description and analysis of those writings of Cardinal Tomáš Špidlík,SJ that deal with God's Fatherhood. The introductory part contains a brief survey of Cardinal Špidlík's life and pays attention to his relationship with his own father. The subject of God's Fatherhood is structured in accordance with the spiritual theological katabatic description. First God Father is described as one of the three persons of the Holy Trinity. Then there is a description of Jesus Christ as the one who revealed God Father to us here on the Earth and also showed us how to turn to Him. The final part deals with an understanding of God Father as the perfect model for spiritual fatherhood. The method used is that of searching for facts in those of father Cardinal's texts that describe the above-mentioned subject and critical analysis of the facts
