Monodisperse TiO2 nanospheres with tunable,uniform structures have been synthesized using tetrabutyl titanate as the precursor via a hydrothermal method at 130 ℃.The diameter of TiO2 microspheres can be precisely controlled from tens to 1000 nm by adjusting the synthetic parameters,such as reaction time and pH value of the reaction solution..The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),transmission electron microscopy (TEM),and X-ray diffraction (XRD).The results showed that the sample was amorphous structure.The crystallinity of TiO2 could be improved by further hydrothermal crystallization.The monodisperse TiO2 nanospheres are expected to be applied in the photocatalytic reaction,solar cell,photonic crystals and so...
