Millions of children attend elementary, middle and high schools throughout the country to be instructed by teachers within six major subjects. Out of six main subjects taught in academic schools, social studies has been proven as one of the most difficult yet complex subjects among students especially the deaf and hard of hearing students. It has been noted where social studies, elaborate and diverse as it may be, have created an environment where most students have the tendency to associate this subject with negative attitudes and experiences.
