Die ersten Parkinsontypischen Eischlußkörper (Lewy Neuriten und Lewy Körper) innerhalb des Gehirns entstehen in den spindelförmigen viszeromotorischen (nichtcatecholaminergen) Nervenzellen des dorsalen Glossopharyngeusund Vagus Areals und in Projektionsneuronen der intermediär retikulären Zone. Vielfach werden sie von entsprechenden Veränderungen im Bulbus olfaktorius und im Nukleus olfaktorius anterior begleitet.
