ЖУКИ-СКАКУНЫ (COLEOPTERA, CICINDELIDAE) ТЕРРАСНО- ДЕЛЬТОВОЙ РАВНИНЫ НИЖНЕГО ПРИДНЕПРОВЬЯ

Overview of species of tiger beetles of Lower Dnieper is presented. Overall actually found 10 species from four genera - Calomera littoralis nemoralis Olivier, 1790, Cephalota chiloleuca Fischer von Waldheim, 1820, C. elegans stigmatophora Fischer von Waldheim, 1828, Cicindela campestris pontica Fischer von Waldheim, 1828, C. nordmanni Chaudoir, 1848, C. sahlbergii lutshniki Matalin, 1999, Cylindera (s. str.) germanica Linnaeus, 1758, C. (Eugrapha) arenaria viennensis Schrank, 1781, C. (Eugrapha) contorta Fischer von Waldheim, 1828, Cylindera (Eugrapha) trisignata hellenica Cassola, 1973. Three other species (Cephalota atrata Pallas, 1776, C. besseri Dejean, 1826, C. deserticola sivashensis Danilevskyi, 2004,) can be founded in region too. For all species the data of their distribution (in Palearctic and Ukraine), quantity and occurrence, biology (development of larvae, life cycle) and ecology (habitats, occurrence) are given. Cephalota chiloleuca occurs in slightly saline habitats, but C. elegans stigmatophora - in typical salt-marshes. Cicindela campestris pontica and Cylindera germanica are the typical meadows species. C. nordmanni and C. sahlbergi lutshniki in sandy steppe biotopes are inhabited. C. arenaria viennensis and C. contorta in littoral sandy areas are occurs. Calomera littoralis nemoralis is found in numerous biotopes, but mostly in littoral areas near of salty reservoirs. C. nordmanni and Calomera littoralis nemoralis are numerous species in region, especially at ending of spring and beginning of summer. The common species are Cephalota chiloleuca, Cicindela campestris pontica, Cylindera germanica and C. arenaria viennensis. Relatively rare and local species are Cephalota elegans stigmatophora, Cicindela sahlbergii lutshniki and C. contorta (most at first half of summer). General issues of biological and ecological characteristics of tiger beetles of Ukraine are given and summarized too
