FDI Revisited: Empirical Evidence from Transition Economies Case of Albania

Transition economies in the Central East European (CEE) and South East European (SEE) region have embraced the notion that FDI can act as a catalyst in their effort to reform their economies and as a result policies and measures have been put in place to attract FDI inflows. Indeed, foreign investors started moving capital into the region which caused FDI to increase markedly.
