The information provided in this refugee health profile is intended to help resettlement agencies, clinicians, and providers understand the cultural background and health issues of greatest interest/concern pertaining to resettling Burmese refugee populations. The following health conditions are considered priority health conditions when caring for or assisting Burmese refugees: hepatitis B and intestinal parasites.
