Reducing health disparities among our nation\ue2\u20ac\u2122s youth is a major priority for the Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH). As defined by the CDC, health disparities are preventable differences in the burden of disease, injury and violence, or in opportunities to achieve optimal health experienced by socially disadvantaged populations.
