Fewer outbreaks result in more saved lives.This chart depicts data collected from 1998 to 2008 on foodborne disease outbreaks. It shows that the percentage of Salmonella outbreaks attributed to eggs declined significantly, from 33% during 1998-1999 to 15% during 2006-2008. Fewer outbreaks result in more saved lives.
