This study was triggered by the fact that reading habit among Indonesian people had not been developed well yet. Meanwhile, the teaching learning process of literature in schools, most of the time, is considered not to encourage the development of reading habit. Some teachers still tend to teach literature efferently instead of aesthetically. Their students are not given the opportunity and the courage to approach literature personally. In fact, by approaching literature personally, the students will probably learn more about literature and are more likely to become critical readers and learners.
