Gobius couchi Miller & El-Tawil, 1974 was collected by SCUBA diving in the infralittoral zone at Oštro, in the Kvarner area, northern Adriatic Sea. This is the first record in the Adriatic Sea, and the second finding in the Mediterranean Sea of this previously considered north-eastern Atlantic species.Primjerci vrste Gobius couchi Miller & El-Tawil, 1974 sakupljeni su u infralitoralnoj zoni tijekom autonomnog ronjenja na postaji Oštro, u području Kvarnera, u sjevernom Jadranskom moru.
