[[abstract]]In this research, we demonstrate a rapid size exclusion and nano electrostaticsieving method for biomolecules separation by charged and sized with a wellaligned multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) array as an ordered nanoporous medium in a microfluidic chip. To manipulate solution ionic strength in this nanostructure, MWCNTs was modified with negative charged functional group by surface plasma treatment. Both size and charge sieving of biomolecules were observed attributing to high efficient separation. Rapid separation of three short dsDNA has been achieved in 1 min. In addition, a great reduction of band broadening for sample trapped was obtained when proteins was separated by the well-aligned MWCNTs array
