[[abstract]]Background and aims: Potential modifiable dietary or inflammatory biomarkers may impact the decline estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), but very few has been examined in type 2 diabetes. Methods: Eighty-eight type 2 diabetic adults free of kidney disease who have participated in the Diabetes Management through Integrated Delivery System (DMIDS) cohort were recruited from primary clinics in southern Taiwan and followed for 3 years.
