Yield Components of Determinate Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) cultivars

Poljski pokusi s pet hibridnih kultivara determinantne rajčice (Balca, Sultan, Reword, Dublet i Serdika) provedeni su na dvije lokacije (Imotski i Trogir) u 1996. i 1998. godini. U Imotskom je bio jedan rok sadnje i to 27. svibnja, a u Trogiru su bila dva roka sadnje 13. svibnja i 12. srpnja u obje godine istraživanja. Primijenjena je tehnologija uzgoja na malču od crne PE-folije sa sistemom za navodnjavanje kapanjem. Pokus je postavljen po slučajnom bloknom rasporedu u tri ponavljanja. U berbi je određena masa, visina i promjer ploda, ukupni prinos te pojava fizioloških poremećaja. Najraniji je bio kultivar Balca (61 dan), kultivar Reword je imao najveći prinos (100.8 t/ha), dok je najveća prosječna masa ploda (148.7 g) zabilježena kod kultivara Dublet u obje godine istraživanja. Prosječna masa ploda je kod svih kultivara bila veća u ljetnom roku sadnje, ali ne i ukupni prinos.Field experiments with five determinate tomato hybrid cultivars (Balca, Sultan, Reword, Dublet and Serdika) were carried out on two locations (Imotski and Trogir) in 1996 and 1998. There was one planting date in Imotski, May 27, and two planting dates in Trogir, May 13 and July 12 within both years of investigation. Growing technology on black PE-mulch with drip irrigation was applied. Experiments were established by completely randomised block with three replicates. Weight, height and diameter of the fruits, total yield and also physiological disorders were determinated during harvesting. The earliest was cv. Balca (61 day), cv. Reword had the highest yield (100.8 t/ha) while the highest average fruit weight (148.7 g) was noted with cv. Dublet during both years of research.
