Variation de la biodégradation de l'atrazine dans un environnement pédoclimatique apparemment homogène

In a silt-loamy soil the biodegradation of atrazine varied with the frequency of application. Respectively 40, 25 and 5% of the herbicide were mineralized during laboratory incubations in a bare fallow-plot formerly under maize receiving atrazine every year (SN), in a plot under a wheat-maize rotation receiving atrazine every other year (BM) and a plot under permanent grass never receiving atrazine (Pr). After microbial enrichments in liquid medium, the atrazine degradation was rapid in the SN and BM plots when atrazine was the sole source of carbon. It was rapid in the three plots when atrazine was the sole source of nitrogen or of both carbon and nitrogen. / Dans un sol limono-argileux, la biodégradation de l'atrazine varie avec sa fréquence d'application au champ. Respectivement 40, 25 et 5% de l'herbicide sont minéralisés au cours d'incubations au laboratoire dans un sol nu autrefois sous monoculture de maïs, recevant de l'atrazine tous les ans (SN), dans un sol sous rotation blé-maïs recevant de l'atrazine un an sur deux (BM) et un sol sous prairie permanente ne recevant jamais d'atrazine (Pr).
