Soil erosion is an increasing problem all over the world. In regional scale, remote sensing has been generally used to estimate parameters required in runoff or erosion predictive modelling (i.e. : land use with optical data). Among the most important parameters in runoff processes, several, such as agricultural practices may be nowadays discriminated by Synthetic Aperture Radar, due to its sensibility to geometrical properties.This study was realized in mediterrannean vineyards, southern France.
