The current hydrological approach used for various catchments characterized by their violent floods has permitted the definition of flow-duration-frequency models with a wide representativity and specially adapted to the development of vineyard hills of the Bourgogne region. The local parameters of these models are deduced from the production function of the USA Soil Conservation Service and from the "SOCOSE" national formula. The results of a digital model of transport of solid particles in suspension based on a precise description of the turbulent structure are compared to those of the "basic" method used for the 1985 study.
