As part of a DM2E research program on the Environment (EV5V-CT91-0039 agreement between the European Union and the Cemagref), water availability was determined using several experimental watersheds. This article is about the Prades watersheds, in Spanish Catalonia and the results of a monthly modelling are rapidly compared to those obtained on the site of Réal Collobrier (Provence, France). Prior to the modelling, an analysis of the annual runoffs is conducted. Other than a rough comparison of the runoff coming from the two watersheds, Avic and Teula, which constitute the flow monitoring device, this step provides a critical analysis of the chronicals.
