Methane emissions (CH4, C02) from stored animal wastes (pig slurry, poultry manure, cattle slurry) were measured during laboratorie studies. Methane emissions from stored pig slurry vary from 3 to 19% of the total slurry carbon, depending on the slurry and storage conditions.
