Adopting a directed glance, the text investigates, in sequence, some particularly significant areas that unravel along the route of the river Po. Similar to a cadenced sequence of different environmental Strips, these areas become important evidence of the different changes that this part of the territory has immediately over time: from the more natural 'bands' belonging to the ancient river bed, to peri-urban areas still significant for the degree of rarefaction due to the still evident relationship between agricultural areas and urbanized parts, up to the peri-urban areas belonging to the ancient belts peripherals of the city.
