In English language classroom, teacher talk plays an essential role in the classroom interaction since it facilite students to enhance their levels of comprehension toward the learning materials that are give and further encouraged them to be more active during the learning process. By using teacher talk, students are possible to obtained new knowledge or information they needed to learn in a lesson. However, in the reality students did not actively participate in learning process. To overcome this problem, it is important for teachers needs to modify their talk by using some techniques in order to get students‟ responses.
