The article contain general foundations of macromodelling of centrifugal pumps. Macromodelling is based on principles of theory of hydraulic circuit. Pump is divided into the typical elements, for which flow rate dependence of pressure is calculated. Principal pump schema is substituted for equivalent hydraulic circuit. Pump characteristic is assembled from typical elements characteristics of equivalent hydraulic circuit.
